Ted Talks - Room One

If you want to be in the Theatre then you need to be theatrical

In this session Steve Levy, COO Ipsos-Reid will tell you why he is qualified to speak on this issue, share with you some of his experiences, some of his observations and provide you with some recommendations

There are five MUSTS that presenters should adhere to;

Being an expert gets you a "seat "at the table, but it does not get you standing room at the front of the table. Expertise is no longer enough to be the person "standing" at the head of the table. To be in the standing position… to be on the stage, you have to have expertise, because that is table stakes, but more than this, you need to be interesting, convincing and dare I say it … entertaining. At the end of the day, if you want to be in the theatre, then you need to be theatrical.
